Yummy Tomato Soup

A soup is a hot light meal which makes you feel fuller longer. Its simple to prepare and provides many health benefits. Here is the recipe for a simple and yummy tomato soup.


Yummy tomato Soup


Tomatoes 5 medium sized, cut into 4 halves.
Carrot chopped, 1 cup
Garlic 2 clove
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Celery leaves chopped, 1 cup
Coconut milk 3/4 cup
Chopped garlic 1 1/2 tablespoons
Pepper powder 2 teaspoons
Onion Chopped, 1/2 cup
Butter 4 tablespoons
Tomato puree 2 tablespoons
Low-fat veg broth 1 1/2 cups
Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
Water 1/2 cup

Tomato Puree

Tomato puree cans are available in the market. Also, we can prepare it from home. Soak tomatoes in boiled water for 10 minutes, and drain it. Peel the tomatoes, blend in food processor, and filter out the seeds. Cook it until it becomes a thick paste.


Heat pan and add olive oil. Add tomatoes, carrot, garlic, celery leaves, garlic, butter, and onions. Roast for 2-3 minutes until carrot gets cooked . Let it cool for 5 minutes. Blend the mixture by adding 1/2 cup of water. Add tomato puree, veg broth, coconut milk , salt and pepper to the blended mixture. Boil and stir for 5-10 minutes. Serve hot by garnishing using a teaspoon of coconut milk.
